This simple but reliable unit is ideal for the enthusiastic greenhouse gardener. Its design is based on our very successful commercial luminaire designed in cooperation with the John Innes Horticultural Institution many years ago. A polished reflector provides uniform illumination at heights of between 45 and 60cm to give between 3600 and 5500 lx. The compact size of the reflector which has an anodised aluminium finish on the outside obstructs a minimum of daylight. The light source is a 250W mercury tungsten blended lamp housed in a porcelain skirted lampholder for added safety. It is fitted with 2m of 3 core cable and plug and, for mounting, 2 brackets are provided.
